Jonathan Berger practices in the areas of intellectual property law and special education law. He is a skilled negotiator, legal strategist, and trial lawyer. As an experienced and creative advocate, Jonathan works to achieve favorable outcomes for his clients; however he is also prepared to try a case if it is in the best interest of a client. Jonathan is passionate about the challenges that confront children with special needs and their parents. Jonathan served as an Assistant District Attorney for seven years in the Special Prosecutions Bureau and the Money Laundering and Tax Crimes Unit of the New York County District Attorney's Office. He was responsible for investigating and prosecuting a wide variety of financial crimes, including white collar, computer and tax related crimes. He graduated with a B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University; he received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1999 and is admitted to practice in New York and in Connecticut.
